Each spring, the Bradley Department of Athletics presents the annual Bradley Athletics Most Outstanding Female and Male Athlete Awards. In order to be eligible for the award, active student-athletes must have earned All-Missouri Valley Conference notice during the current athletic year. The list of nominees is announced during the annual All About The B Awards ceremony and the votes of head coaches, selected staff members, local sports media and fans are tallied following the final athletic competition of the year.
The 2014 Bradley Athletics Most Outstanding Athletes are sophomore cross country and track runnerKristen Busch and senior soccer player Wojciech Wojcik. After earning all-conference honors during the 2013 MVC Cross Country Championships, Busch won individual league titles in the 2014 MVC Indoor Track 5,000 meters and the 2014 MVC Outdoor Track 10,000 meters. She qualified for the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meters, advancing to the finals in the longer race to earn USTFCCCA All-America honorable mention recognition. Wojcik was the 2013 MVC Men's Soccer Player of the Year and shared the nation's lead with a school-record 14 assists. After helping the Braves win the 2013 MVC Tournament title at Shea Stadium, Wojcik either scored (three) our assisted all four goals during Bradley's two games in the 2013 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship.
